Gehlot Dials PM As Crisis Worsens

Guv says yes to CM’s demand for calling assembly session, but with some conditions

As an unprecedented move amid the ongoing Congress government crisis in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot dialled Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speak about the political impasse and Governor Kalraj Mishra who has, for the second time, rejected his call to convene an assembly session.

Gehlot said he dialled PM Modi on Sunday to speak about the ongoing government crisis in Rajasthan and the Governor’s “conduct” and his move to stall requests to convene the assembly session, which would enable the chief minister to prove majority in the House.
