The way technology has taken over the missing spaces in our lives is amazing. In only five months, people have changed the way they live, work, socialize, shop, worship, and do business.
In only about half of a year, older people who had been ignoring gadgets, the internet, emails, Messenger, Viber, Instagram, the online news, and anything connected to the digital world, have acknowledged that there’s a new world somewhere out there in cyberspace.
The lockdown in March changed all that. Suddenly, shopping for essentials and little touches of luxury was made online. The once forgotten sound of the doorbell became a constant because of the online purchases delivered by Grab and Lalamove riders.
