The largest constituency in Gurugram Vidhan Sabha was won by Rao Narbir Singh by a margin of over 80,000 votes in 2014. Rao Narbir has been replaced by Manish Yadav who will turn 37 years in age just a week before the declaration of election results on October 24.
Son of a former sarpanch in Sikander Pur Ghosi village, Yadav has obtained a master's degree in real estate management and financing. He was working in his own real estate firm in the USA, untill he returned back to India in 2008 and joined BJP. He was elevated to the position of state president of the youth wing (Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha) of BJP in Haryana. Interestingly, Yadav lobbied hard for the Badshahpur constituency ticket in 2009 and in 2014 but could not get the ticket at that time. Yadav is known for his organisational skills.
