A School in Plymouth where pupils “frequently leave the site or climb on the roof” has been critcised by Ofsted and placed in special measures.
The education watchdog also said “violent behaviour is common” at Mount Tamar School, rating it as inadequate.
The school, situated on Row Lane in Higher St Budeaux, is maintained by Plymouth City Council for children from Year Three up to Year 11 with additional needs.
A new headteacher has been drafted in and plans are in place to improve the school as quickly as possible. The previous head left following a visit from Ofsted in March last year that led to a separate, damning report.
