A CITY law firm has made a significant donation to the Plymouth Foodbank as part of a national initiative to tackle food poverty in the UK.
The Plymouth office of law firm Womble Bond Dickinson donated and delivered more than 150kg of food and drinks to the local foodbank, which will provide over 100 meals during the Christmas period.
Staff also spent time on-site helping to sort and coordinate the distribution of food parcels. On top of the goods delivery, there was a financial contribution in the form of a £250 online food and drinks order thanks to a combination of staff donations and money from the WBD Foundation.
