Hobbs Gives Credit To Players In Dealing With Postponements

Tuesday's postponed game at Hanwell Town was the 18th time this season the club have prepared for a game, only for it to be postponed, whether it be enforced or otherwise, meaning they are well behind on their fixtures.

Tomorrow, Parkway should get back to action as Southern League Premier Division opponents Basingstoke Town play on an artificial surface, so there should be no waterlogged or frozen pitch, meaning another match day spent training or otherwise for the boys in Yellow.

"Everybody is frustrated from players to staff to supporters and everyone else at the football club," Hobbs said after the club suffered a sixth successive postponement in midweek. "It's a very, very difficult period we are in at the minute and it is not good for anyone.

"It's not just us, though, it's Taunton, Tiverton, Truro - it's no coincidence. We get it worse in the south west than anyone past Bristol. It comes in off the Atlantic and hits us hard and the league don't take that into consideration and that's frustrating for us.
