A PLYMOUTH woman has ditched her job to follow her dream of owning her own environmentally friendly thrift shop.
Georgia Thompson quit her job at a call center and has opened a secondhand clothes shop at Plymouth Market to tackle the issue of fast fashion. She says her business, which sells pre-owned designer brands, is aimed at students and young people.
The 25-year-old from Peverell said: “There isn’t really anywhere here for students. There used to be a couple of thrift shops in Plymouth but there aren’t any left, so I thought it would be a good idea.
