New Delhi: Three people who were involved in a road rage case near Red Fort on Monday night were arrested from Turkman Gate on Tuesday. Investigators said that three others had absconded. Police also said that the three people injured during the shooting were now stable.
Footage from a CCTV camera nearby helped police identify the accused. Eight teams conducted raids in Seelampur and north Delhi and nabbed three people from Turkman Gate on Tuesday. Sagar Singh Kalsi, DCP (North) identified the trio as Shahbaz, 30, Shadab, 31 and Shahzada Farid, 31. “They were arrested with the aid of human and technical intelligence,” said Kalsi. Northeast district police have detained one Sabir Choudhary from Seelampur in an Arms Act case. His role in the Red Fort road rage case is being checked.
