Thousands of people from the Sikh community celebrated Vaisakhi at Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet, Hyderabad.
More than 25,000 Sikh devotees and people from other communities participated in the Vishaal Deewan' (mass congregation) organized under the aegis of Prabhandak Committee Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet, at Sri Guru Gobind Singhji Play Grounds, Ameerpet. "About 75-80 people were baptised at Ameerpet gurudwara. There was a large congregation and preachers from Punjab came to the city and recited Gurubani Keertans and sermons," said Darshan Singh, secretary, Sikh Education Society.
