Hyderabad: Though Telangana’s director of public health and family welfare has declared that the Covid third wave has ended and people can start getting back to work from office, Hyderabad’s IT sector is ‘treading cautiously’.

Cyient chairman BVR Mohan Reddy said the ‘back to office’ (BTO) strategy will hinge on how the overall ecosystem shapes up in the coming days. “Cases are declining but we have to be cautious, especially in light of what happened in the last two years. We also have to take into consideration that many employees have moved back to hometowns and there is still no clarity about schools reopening as many employees have children to look after at home,” he said.
