The blog ‘The Image Code’ is a name synonymous with luxury and fashion, but founder Tina Kakkad was a new kid on the block in the world of parenting. BIGGEST ADVANTAGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
The fact that I can work from home, and take my work wherever I go. It’s my space, so I can decide the time and pace. And in reference to being a mum, being able to run the show helps a lot. You can even convert your content to talk about things that are more important to your life in present times, and even the audience is more accepting of the shift
BIGGEST DISADVANTAGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
Your constantly under the radar, and there’s a lot that the audience expects from you. But there’s some parts you’d want to keep private, even when there’s so much that people want to know about you. At a point, I felt a lot of pressure, but I never gave in. I announced my pregnancy in my own time. It’s hard to constantly put your life out there and also look the part. A mum in the public eye is expected to loose weight and have perpetually blow-dried hair even if she’s dealing with postpartum hair fall!
