I am a California-native street photographer who currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. I started taking street photography seriously in March 2015.
My time as a street mime comes in handy, giving me the ability to anticipate street moments, be there with my camera as they happen, and take photos without being noticed or upsetting the people around.
Oftentimes, I stop to shoot photographs because of a strong feeling that something interesting is about to happen.
Sometimes it's because an exciting moment is already happening. Other than that, I am triggered by lighting conditions, the presence of intriguing shapes and forms, vibrant colors, and interesting-looking people.
Most of my photos were taken outdoors during the daytime and with natural light.
Using a flash brings too much attention to me and spoils the candid moment or angers some people who believe I should have asked for their permission before taking their photo.
