Animal Crossing New Horizons is a game that I haven’t played that much of. I played a ton of the Animal Crossing titles on the Nintendo Wii and DS, but I didn’t feel like getting into a new title since I knew what a time sink it could be and, I already have a ton of other games to play that are taking up my time. My sons aged eight and 10 have been working on their island named kitty 2021 since April of 2021. They still haven’t reached an island ranking of three stars, which is the minimum you need to unlock cool stuff like; having K.K. Slider visit your island, the ability to terraform the island—and with the new update—being able to get Brewster’s cafe or go on boat rides with Kapp’n. My husband and I were thinking about getting them the new DLC for Christmas, but since they haven’t been able to see the new free stuff, there’s no rush. I wanted to see why they haven’t been able to get their island up to those three stars.
