Trusting ensures peace… Trusting liberates!
It was twilight and the Sun was going down faster than ever that day, or, so it appeared to me. I still had a few things left to be bought in my shopping list that Saturday, my shopping day. 'Never mind! Let's go home before the boys feel hungry' – I told myself and hired a three-wheeler auto, so that my shopping bags can be piled up in it and my 2 young boys could also be accommodated with me.
As we waited for the traffic signal to go green, my eyes fell on a by-lane in the opposite side where some street hawkers were selling clothing; my eyes brightened up when I saw plenty of handkerchiefs hanging from the temporary stilts out there and handkerchiefs was pending in my shopping list! In a rush of juvenile spontaneity, I entrusted my boys and the bags with the auto driver and jumped out of the auto, clutching my handbag under my arm.
I quickly bargained a pack of handkerchiefs for 100 rupees and fished out the note from my handbag with flourish, plucked the pack from the hands of the vendor and rushed back to the waiting auto. With great pride on my negotiation skills, I returned home happily.
