As I write this month’s article from what is a very sunny Lincolnshire, lockdown is still very much in full force. Apart from all of the other ramifications, lockdown makes popping along to your favorite gun shop to have a natter, a mooch around and if you’re lucky, a cup of tea whilst you peruse the pellets and other goodies, a virtual impossibility. Fortunately for me, I’d already ordered a great selection of pellets for testing from my good friend, Tim, at Pellet Perfect, which will enable me to carry on for a few more months yet.
As you might be aware, in recent months I’ve been looking at pellets of differing head designs, but from the same manufacturer, choosing a different manufacturer each month and selecting those pellets that I think would be most interesting to look at. In some cases, it’s only three or four types, but this month I’ve managed to get together a bumper crop of five pellets from the well-known German manufacturer, RWS, which as some of you may know is part of the massive RUAG group, which let’s just say has its fingers in more pies than you can imagine.
