Denmark’s hosting of this summer’s Tour de France Grand Départ will play a significant role in determining if Britain will welcome the race back in 2026.
Last October it was announced that the UK government was financially backing a bid that would see Scotland, England and Wales all host the opening three stages of the Tour, 14 years after the race’s last visit to these shores.
