Those of you that follow me on Instagram may have seen the transformation of my house that I bought a year ago and we are now living in. I can’t tell you how much more friendly Yorkshire folk are compared to the French and I’ve been delightfully surprised by how many women are riding out here in North Yorkshire – I’d say 50% of the riders I see are women. I spend half the time with one hand on the bars and the other waving at friendly riders or trying to crack a smile through the pain of an effort.
