Odsonne Edouard Has A Desire For Success In Glasgow’S Green And White
FROM derby doubles, to last-gasp winners at Tynecastle and Dens Park, cup final penalties and Treble Treble-winning wondergoals, Odsonne Edouard has nerves of steel.
This campaign, he’s found the net four times in eight games so far, and has likewise assisted four times for his colleagues. Last season, he bagged 22 goals in 52 games and was the creator of a further eight. Much has been said about the value of Celtic’s biggest ever incoming transfer moving permanently to Paradise in the summer of 2018, but, with that return, there’s an argument to made that he’s priceless.
“I’m enjoying my football at the moment, and I always try to make an impact on games whenever I’m on the pitch,” said Edouard in an exclusive interview with the Celtic View. “I want to win every game and I always want to play well – for the team and for myself.
“This season, we’re scoring goals from all areas of the pitch, and the fact that we’re not relying on just one or two people is good for the team. It’s good for so many players to score for the confidence of the team, and for the dynamic of the season.”
