The 2022 edition of the T20 World Cup has come to a close. England were crowned champions as they beat Pakistan in the final by five wickets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). After a tightly fought Super 12 round, India, Pakistan, England, and New Zealand made the semi-finals. However, the Kiwis were thumped by Pakistan by seven wickets in the first semi-final in Sydney, while England hammered India by 10 wickets in the other knockout clash in Adelaide. While the T20 World Cup saw some memorable performances, there were many big names who let their team down. On that note, here's the flop XI of the T20 World Cup 2022.
OPENERS: ROHIT SHARMA (CAPTAIN), DAVID WARNER
Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Australia's veteran batter David Warner will open the innings for the flop XI. Rohit managed a mere 116 runs in six games at an average of 19.33 and a strike rate of 106.42. His only half-century came against the Dutch, and he enjoyed a lot of luck in that innings as well.
