A Magnificent Two-Wheeled Custom Machine

As a new BMW R 18 custom project, the BMW R 18 Magnifica is an extreme reinterpretation of the German cruiser, in which luxury, craftsmanship and the nobility of the materials culminate in this uniquely fascinating motorcycle.

Forged by hand using noble materials such as brass, aluminium and wood, with a design unlike any other custom - thus was the design brief for the R 18 Magnifica. Based on the BMW R 18, the commission came from Raffaello Polchi of Officine Riunite Milanesi, a lifelong motorbike enthusiast. With the support of BMW Motorrad Italia, the design and build was by Andrea Radaelli of Radikal Chopper, a well-known industry name who garnered the MBE Award 2020 for his Ad Maiora - a special edition built with maniacal attention to detail that began life as a BMW R 1100 S.
