A 45-minute, full body workout that you can scale to yourindividual fitness level, what's so special about F45?
THE PLACE
The F45 training system is fast becoming one of those open secrets, known to those in the fitness scene and not noticed by the rest of the population. By the end of 2018, there would be 18 individual boutique training studios open throughout Singapore, catering to small, manageable classes.
Working on a licensee agreement, the studios are actually managed by different owners, and we checked into the Novena branch, where trainer Zac Ho explained the philosophy behind the F45 spirit.
Originating in Australia, F45 claims to merge three separate fitness training styles into one compelling group training experience for its members. Combining elements of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Circuit Training, and Functional Training, the fusion of these three training concepts has led to the development of 31 different, 45-minute workout experiences, with more constantly in development.
They claim that the combination of interval, cardiovascular and strength training has been proven to be the most effective workout method for burning fat and building lean muscle.
