When did the downfall begin?
When looking at this historically-awful run of New York Giants football, there are countless areas to investigate. This sinking ship has too many holes to patch in one article, but the base of every long-term successful team centers around the draft. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the shortcomings this franchise has come up with via the draft and provide some advice as to where to head in the future.

The second-rounder, Rueben Randle, did see plenty of time and had a career-high 71 receptions in 2014 but his career was over after 2015 as his rookie deal ended and nobody in the NFL wanted him. The remaining five players in the rookie class were all out of the NFL within five years, two of which started one game each respectively.
