During his visit to the US, the Prime Minister also met the heads of leading tech companies at the Hi-Tech Handshake mega event. This included Google’s Sundar Pichai, Apple’s Tim Cook, OpenAI’s Sam Altman, and Microsoft’s Satya Nadella. They discussed topics ranging from semiconductor manufacturing and space exploration to AI, and some of these tech giants committed to various degrees of investment in India.
