Q: How would you describe your leadership style and how have you dealt with the challenges?
A: I have exhibited different kind of leadership style over a period of time, but fundamentally I am a democratic leader. As a leader, my biggest responsibility is to clearly define the vision of the organisation. Secondly, to build a team of dynamic talents for the organization to implement the strategy in achieving the desired goal. I always try to create a good culture in the organization which enables the people to work to the best of their capabilities. We are driving a culture called Vibrant Panasonic to create engagement of people working in the organization for their wellbeing and happiness. Through my entire journey, I have been very lucky to work with some of the great leaders who always inspired me to learn and grow. We have encountered lots of challenges but one must not stop working. Panasonic Founder, KOnosuke Matsushita was a man with vision, even after facing hurdles, he rose against the obstacles and continued to go forward which is and will be an inspiration for all. When you try to understand the stories of such leaders you get an inspiration and a reason to remain sustainable and develop perseverance in yourself. I strongly believe in Gautam Buddha. He once said that we cannot see when it is too dark or too bright thus, the key is to remain grounded and stay close to the reality. This is something that I apply in day-to-day life to manage all the challenges. I try to understand the challenge thoroughly before taking the final call, in fact eventake an informed decision with a number of people to know their opinion and ways to tackle the problem.

A Tipping Point Missed
Before America and the world settle in firmly to the new Donald Trumpbased reality, let’s take a little trip down the road not taken. Suppose we had woken up last Wednesday morning to a President-elect Hillary Clinton. And let’s say that, instead of former Portuguese Prime Minister António Guterres, New Zealand’s Helen Clark or Bulgaria’s Kristalina Georgieva had been picked to succeed Ban Ki-moon as United Nations Secretary-General.Clinton would have joined the United Kingdom’s Theresa May and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, helping achieve critical mass in the G7. And a female UN Secretary General would have placed women at the helm of two of the world’s three biggest international organizations (France’s Christine Lagarde already runs the International Monetary Fund).

The whole article is divided into 3 parts i.e. Opportunities in higher education, need of global tie ups and research based education. So let’s start with the first one that is opportunity in higher education. Its pity to see that, only 8% of the population reaches to the level of higher education. Governments (central and states) jointly have invested lakhs of crores... but what did they get in return... nill bate sannata... as we don’t know that what actually do we need from this education.
Coping With Exam Stress
The exam season is inevitably associated with words like stress, tension, worries and pressures in our minds. Be it when the exams are approaching, ongoing or when awaiting the exam results. Moreover, the stress levels increase not only for the students, but also for their parents, teachers, tutors, family members at large! However, the ultimate onus eventually falls back on the student, who is responsible for not only working towards performing successfully in the exams, but also to be able to manage the accompanying stressors eff ectively. Furthermore, besides the academic workloads, these additional stressors could vary from the worry of their parents, the expectations of the teachers, the comparison and competition with their peers, or the nagging from their tutors.
