These are the most advanced ear buds from OnePlus, but still miss out on a couple of key features

It has been raining earbuds for some time, and OnePlus has pushed their third earbuds into this crowded space with a few advanced features. The buds offer ANC, wireless charging and IP55 water resistance.

The Buds Pro has a refreshing ergonomic design and is available in Matte Black and Glossy White finishes. The short stem has a glossy metallic finish, making it a duotone design. The case design is not too inspiring but offers a nice cradle for the buds and fits snugly in your pocket. The case is IPX4 splash resistance. It can be charged with a Type-C USB cable and is compatible with Qi-standard wireless charging. It supports Warp Charge, and a 10-minute charge is claimed to provide 10 hours of listening time.

The OnePlus Buds Pro provides balanced sound reproduction with 11mm dynamic drivers. Though it is not exceptional, the audio turned out to be clean with well-separated frequencies. The buds can be paired using the Hey Melody companion app, which is compatible with Oppo and OnePlus ear buds. The app provides three levels of ANC including a smart mode. The Zen Mode Air feature plays white noise if you need to relax a bit. There are a few natural background sounds to choose from. The OnePlus Audio ID feature does a hearing test and automatically applies a hearing enhancement solution. The Buds Pro supports SBC, AAC and LHDC audio codecs.
