Some of the workshops basically take you through the breath-related parts of yoga – without the need to balance on one leg – and come with all sorts of benefits. Studies have shown that you could enjoy everything from a clearer mind to pain relief, lowered blood pressure and even better memory capabilities.

Do the moves in a circuit, with no resting in between sets. ‘Keep the loop tight at all times to get the best results,’ she advises. ‘And if your muscles are burning and quivering like crazy, you’re doing it right.’ Noted.
