Actress says she wants to focus on her music career and business
DON’T be shocked when you switch on to Generations – The Legacy in the next two months and actress Namhla, real name Thulisile Pongolo, is nowhere to be seen. The 24-year-old actress has left the show after three years of prime-time glory. The shocking move comes hot on the heels of her starting a new career as a deejay and businesswoman. Her departure has sparked speculation that she might have been fired from the show.
WAS SHE FIRED?
She tells Move! that this rumour is far from the truth, saying that leaving the show was her own decision as she wanted to expand her brand. She says she felt it was time for her to move on.
“I believe I have served my time on the show and it's now time to move on. Nothing bad is going on between me and the production company because I wasn’t even limited as an actress. I just want to focus on other things and learn from them so I can grow myself,” she says.
