Sello on playing a gay man, losing his son and love troubles.
ACTOR Sello Maake Ka-Ncube’s dream has come true. The legendary actor, who now portrays the role of a gay man named Kgositsile on The Queen, is thrilled about playing this part. However, Sello says it would have been better if he got the chance at a younger age.
ACTING PASSION IS REJUVENATED
The 56-year-old actor says playing this role has rejuvenated his love for the craft.
“When I found out that the character that I was to play was of a gay man, I got excited. I couldn’t wait to bring the character to life,” reveals the star, who has featured in many productions.
He adds that he’s enjoying every minute of playing Kgosi even though he didn’t have time to do any research on the character.
