Seattle is home to a booming tech industry, with Amazon and Microsoft headquarters alongside its super-cool districts. The city’s most iconic landmark, the Space Needle, built in 1962, is worth a trip to the top on your first day for a bird’s eye view of the city. The tower has the world’s only revolving glass floor to press your face against if you’re feeling brave.
