As his relationship steps up, Prince Harry’s new romance is said to be dividing the palace…
Prince Harry’s made no secret of his desire to settle down, and now that he’s got a new girlfriend in US actress meghan markle, everyone’s wondering if she could be The one.
But while the couple are said to be head over heels, even breaking royal protocol by confirming their relationship in an official statement last month, palace insiders tell Woman that Harry, 32, is becoming increasingly concerned over whether their romance will be able to go the distance.
For while Harry’s visited Meghan, 35, in her Toronto home and she’s spent time at Kensington Palace, a royal source tells Woman, ‘Harry’s completely besotted with Meghan and it’s serious. However, it’s early days yet, so he’s determined to do all he can to protect the blossoming relationship.’
HARRY’S WARNING
Friends say it was the fear of losing Meghan that was the driving force behind Harry’s unprecedented move of releasing a warning statement to the media after Meghan and her family found themselves victims of ‘a wave of abuse and harassment’.
Making it clear how committed he is to their relationship, Harry leapt to Meghan’s defence, saying he was ‘worried about Ms Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her’.
And Harry is said to be adamant that his royal status should not spell the end of their romance.
