Photos of Louise Redknapp snapped for the first time since her ex-husband Jamie married Frida Andersson spoke a thousand words. The pop star looked sombre as she kept her head down, throwing herself into work attending a press night for 9 To 5: The Musical, in which she stars.

Having to watch the father of her children and the man who, until just three years ago, she called her husband, move on so fast – and all in the glare of the public eye – hasn’t been easy for Louise, 47, who has always been open about her feelings.

Worlds apart

While Louise has confessed she’s struggling to date since her divorce from 48-year-old Jamie, he went public with model Frida, 38, last year. Their whirlwind romance saw them announce her pregnancy in May and, while it’s unsurprising it hurt Louise, Woman understands their very public wedding broke her heart.

A well-placed source tells us, ‘Lou didn’t have a lot of time to process the idea of Jamie remarrying before their wedding pictures were splashed all over the internet. She was on a roller coaster of emotions – shock, anger – but, ultimately, she just felt a sense of deep sadness. It was like she’d officially lost him forever.’
