Baby number three is on its way for the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince william. The announcement revealed by Kensington Palace said, ‘The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.’

But for Kate, who in both previous pregnancies had been violently ill, the news will surely be bittersweet? ‘It’s no secret that Kate suffered terribly with George and Charlotte,’ says our insider, who adds, ‘Although she is over the moon, she will undoubtedly have mixed emotions knowing that her body is about to be put under a huge amount of pressure once again.’
