Well, welcome to Efteling – the Netherlands’ incredible hidden gem! The fairy-tale theme park is mysterious for a number of reasons. First, have you ever heard of it? Thought not. Second, did you know it was full of enchanting rides and shows inspired by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen? Thought not. And did you know it’s situated an hour from Amsterdam and 45 minutes from Rotterdam?

Efteling opened in 1952 as a fairy-tale forest, but has grown to become one of the largest theme parks in Europe, and is open year-around. Unlike many theme parks, Efteling offers something for everyone – whether it’s for small children, teenage thrill-seekers or adults.
