Stuck in her modest little house in London’s south, Bella Cruise has clearly had a lot of time to think.

The daughter of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman last week released a slew of new sketches linked with her graphic design business, and sources close to the 27-year-old say they’re a thinly veiled attempt to reconnect with her estranged mother.

Amid the onslaught of images, she posted to Instagram was a picture of a woman bearing a striking resemblance to the 52-year-old Big Little Lies star, along with another drawing with the caption, “Protect your mother and she’ll protect you.”
