‘I WANT TO BE THE BEST DAD EVER!'

Fan favourite Adam Densten will be watching TV with a new sidekick in 2022

He’s used to sitting back and watching TV for a living, but in less than nine months time Gogglebox star Adam Densten will have an exciting reason to get off that sofa after announcing his wife Rachel is expecting a baby!

Talking to Woman’s Day, the 31-year-old funnyman reveals the announcement was the cherry on top of a jam-packed year.

“It’s been a big year for us, we’ve got married, bought a house and fallen pregnant, all in one year,” he says.

“We’ve probably ticked off too many milestones,” he laughs, adding, “but it’s something we’ve always hoped for.”

Rachel, 30, who’s around 16 weeks pregnant, says the magic happened during a period when the pair were figuring out when the right time would be to start trying!

“We were in lockdown, there wasn’t much else to do, and we thought, ‘Why not, let’s get started,’ so it worked out well,” she says.

“It’s been a bit of a blessing in disguise, being locked up. I’ve just been in bed and in my trackpants. It’s nice not having to get dressed up and face the world every day. It’s been pretty good so far.”

That sense of ease is mostly down to Adam.
