Before you go slathering merlot onto your mug, allow us to introduce resveratrol, the antiageing antioxidant within wine that practically holds the key to eternal (skin) youth. We spoke to Arcona Skincare co-founder Chanel Jenae to get the facts on exactly what fermentation can do for our faces. Bottoms up!

How does the resveratrol in skincare work?

“Resveratrol is found naturally in grapes, and when combined with other antioxidants is extremely powerful in protecting [skin] from sun damage, pollution and radiation,” says Chanel. “[It also helps] in reversing some signs of ageing such as fine lines and sun spots.”
