Divorce is painful for anyone to deal with, but actress Jennifer Garner has handled the heartbreak and humiliation of splitting from “the love of my life” Ben Affleck in the public eye – and did so with grace at every turn.

As far as supportive exes go, few compare to Jennifer. After announcing her split from Ben, 46, three years ago – a day after they marked their 10th wedding anniversary – the Peppermint actress went with him to church, publicly praised his skills as a dad and remained civil when rumours of an affair with a nanny surfaced. And as recently as August 22, Jennifer was forced to stage an intervention, even fetching Ben from his house and taking him to rehab when the Justice League actor fell off the wagon, relapsing with his booze addiction.
