As they enjoyed a relaxing date night away from their newborn twins, you could be forgiven for thinking George and Amal Clooney were taking parenting in their stride.

But behind the married couple’s happy façade as they holiday in Lake Como, Italy, our insiders say that the new parents are at loggerheads over George’s shock decision to return to his acting career in Hollywood.

“Amal is fuming,” discloses a close pal of the 39-year-old human rights lawyer. “She thought they had an agreement where George would be a stay-at-home dad. She’s planning to go back to work herself in a couple of months and she wants one of them to be with the twins at all times.
