It was supposed to be Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s golden moment – stepping back into the Hollywood spotlight to air her grievances on US primetime television with Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey by her side.

Instead, the heavily pregnant 39-year-old was last week left shocked after respected London newspaper The Times reported bombshell accusations she behaved like a “manipulative bully” who made staff tremble and cry during the short amount of time she lived at Kensington Palace.

Meghan and Harry, 36, have released a strong denial through their lawyer, who claimed that the newspaper “is being used by Buckingham Palace to peddle a wholly false narrative”.

A spokesperson said, “The duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain.”
