Victoria is worried about her husband hanging out with his newly single friend

When Liv Tyler split from her partner of seven years, sports agent Dave Gardner, you could almost set your watch by how long it would be before he was out on the town enjoying his newly single life, alongside his very much married best friend, David Beckham.

And indeed, the same day the news broke about the break-up, David and Dave were snapped having a boys’ night out in New York, dining at Emilio’s Ballato Italian restaurant before catching a basketball game.

To the average onlooker, it seemed like good, clean fun – one man taking his best mate out for a good time to soothe his broken heart.

But to David’s wife Victoria, it’s bad news.

According to insiders, she’s worried that David’s innocent support for his oldest pal may result in her husband going back to his wild partying days.

“Vic was much more comfortable with their friendship when she knew Dave had a partner and a couple of kids at home,” says a source. “But now, he’s a free man and will no doubt be back to living it up in clubs, surrounded by beautiful women. Which means, most likely so will David.”

Dave, 45, and Liv, 44, reportedly began having problems when she left her fiance at their Cotswolds home during the COVID border closures and fled to Los Angeles with their son Sailor, six, and daughter Lula, five, to ride out the pandemic.
