Years on from his tragic death, the much-loved star’s widow and his children still can’t make peace

More than six years after Robin Williams’ tragic and untimely death, his family are still struggling to deal with the fallout of his suicide. And with the release of the upcoming documentary Robin’s Wish, the bitter war of words raging between the star’s widow Susan Schneider Williams and his three children, Cody, Zelda and Zachary, is set to worsen.

“There’s still a massive amount of bad blood between Susan and Robin’s kids,” a source tells Woman’s Day. “It’s all down to the fact she had to fight so hard just to keep pieces of his life after he died. She will never forgive them for thinking of her as a money-grabbing widow rather than a desperately sad, bereaved wife.

“She loved Robin very much, and was the one standing by his side as that horrible disease took her wonderful man.”
