They put on a united front to welcome 2019 with a lavish $60,000 party, but friends fear this could be the last time David and Victoria Beckham ring in the New Year together, with the couple hitting a new low amid a financial disaster.

Late last year, it was revealed the former Spice Girl’s fashion label has lost $60 million in just five years and while her husband has previously forked out to save the flailing business, he’s now told Victoria, 44, he won’t help her out again and that it’s high time she took responsibility for running her own company.

“They’re the worst they’ve ever been – they’ve hit rock bottom and they’re barely on speaking terms,” a friend of the couple reveals, speaking exclusively to Woman’s Day. “David’s told Victoria he can’t keep bailing her out and has urged her to quit the brand before things get any worse, which has led to a series of furious rows between them.

“Victoria’s refused to give up and says David’s lack of support is all rooted in jealousy. They’re putting on a show of unity for the kids, but behind closed doors, they’re virtual strangers living separate lives.”

A family insider confirms, “David has always blamed Victoria’s obsession with her business for all the troubles in their marriage and he’s tired of dipping into his bank accounts when Victoria is short of cash.
