Dakota gets parenting practise

To casual observers, the two young women with cascading tresses, photographed strolling through Malibu last week clutching a fluffy pet pooch and a tray of café drinks, could have been friends or even sisters.

But a closer look revealed they were none other than 14-year-old Apple Martin and her rumoured soon-to-be stepmum Dakota Johnson!

Showing that her parents’ divorce is as happy as they make it out to be, Apple was perfectly at ease chatting to Fifty Shades of Grey actress Dakota, 29, as they ambled along. And a source tells Woman’s Day it’s no accident the teenager is so comfortable in Dakota’s company.

Her parents Gwyneth Paltrow, 46, and Chris Martin, 42, have gone into overdrive making sure both Apple and her younger brother Moses, 13, are happy with the actress’ presence in their lives.
