And get wrong notions out of their minds.

Treat Your Children Right

It is disappointing to see how children these days easily quit and give up on their lives. Not that it’s a new topic of concern, it’s just that the rate of such incidents are rising day by day. The generation gap can obviously never be filled, true. But can we not just try helping our children not to be too quick in deciding to give up? Yes, something can always be done!

Your children are your treasures and nothing else is more important than their lives, to you. Let’s not think of WHY they do so or what makes them cruel and murderers of their own lives, but focus on HOW as parents, we can help them come out of the negative thoughts that make them opt for “suicide” as the best way to run away from situations.

Healthy communication:

Parents and children must be engaged in healthy and direct communications with each other. Make that connection to create a bonding where your children never hesitate to share their feelings, anxiety, anger, guilt, little or major incidents in their daily lives. Make them comfortable; tell them you are always present for them. Sometimes a talk helps them to relax. Be a good listener to them, a friendly conversation will allow them to blabber their fears, emotions, confessions etc, and their hearts will be at peace then. Try to know through chats if everything’s all right in their lives – they can have a bad day, they can be scared, they can be insecure, they can be happy, they can be over thinking!
