KATIE FIELD and her homebred mare, Jubilee Jinx, put a spring confidence wobble firmly behind them when cruising to BE90 victory.
The East Yorkshire-based rider, who formerly worked in law but now packs and sells eggs produced on her farm near Bishop Burton, admitted that she arrived here with “no expectations whatsoever”.
“We went to the BE90 Badminton grassroots championships this year and although we managed to get round the cross-country, I scared myself senseless and the experience absolutely terrified me,” Katie confessed. “We came here to have a lovely day, so to win was the icing on the cake.”
