‘MBP 2)’ WAS ORIGINALLY a silver Jaguar XJ6 with grey trim, had a manual overdrive gearbox and was first registered to a lady in Sussex. The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate shows that Chichester Automobiles waved it off their forecourt on January 1971, and it remained local for most of its life. The silver coat was replaced with a red one in the early 90s and then the dark blue that it’s currently wearing about ten years ago. It appears on an archived page for a vehicle auction in 2018, after which it underwent a bit of a transformation.

However, this automotive enlightenment hasn't manifested itself in the classic world in any meaningful way - until now.
