While it is extensively used in South East Asian cuisines, it's usage in herbal medicines is important. According to experts, every part namely, oil, leaves, fruit, and rind of kaffir limes are all utilized for different purposes. Rich in compounds like alkaloids, citronellol, limonene, and nerol, this fruit is also used as a flavouring agent in dishes owing to its unique tart and pleasant flavor.
