AFTER bombing miserably the first time around, TV host Ryan Seacrest is planning to launch a talk show, believing he can win a ratings war against the chatfests featuring his former American Idol cohorts Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.
Seacrest, 48, became a free agent after jumping ship co-hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan for six years and is now putting out feelers to land his own talk program, sources tattle.
“Ryan believes he helped make the careers of Kelly and Jennifer to the point where they landed their own talk shows,” a friend says. “While he loves the both of them, he’s gunning for them now!”
