Gave neighbors chills long before arrest on serial killing charges
GILGO BEACH MONSER'S HAUNTED HOUSE!

HULKING Rex Heuermann — the suspected Gilgo Beach Serial Killer — terrified New York neighbors with his frightening behavior, creeped out little kids, leered at local wives and crowed about the notorious slayings he’s accused of committing, sources squeal.

Now, residents of Massapequa Park on Long Island are telling the chilling truth about what it was like having the alleged monster living right next door!

Nearly 13 years after the remains of ten people were discovered along Gilgo Beach, lawmen fingered suburban psycho Heuermann, 59, as the murderer of at least three gals.

Following the 6-foot-4 father’s sensational arrest in NYC, The National ENQUIRER visited his quiet block, where folks described the suspect as an ominous oddball who lived in a “dungeon-like” home avoided by children!

“We refused to let our kids trick-or-treat at his house,” one horror-struck local tells The ENQUIRER. “We were like, ‘Skip that one.’ ”

Mike Schmidt notes the ramshackle residence is out of place among the tidy rows of nearby one-family homes and reveals he once joked Heuermann “probably has bodies there!”

While architect Heuermann traveled to Manhattan every day in business attire like so many other commuters, lawmen charge he led a secret double life as the crazed slayer of sex workers Megan Waterman, 22, Melissa  Barthelemy, 24, and Amber Costello, 27.

Neighbor Nicholas Ferchaw says he wasn’t surprised cops cuffed Heuermann “because of all the creepiness.”
