Could strengthen accusers’ civil case against the church

STUNNING legal sanctions triggered by the Church of Scientology wrongly obtaining confidential information from the former lawyers of convicted rapist Danny Masterson could rip the lid off the controversial sect’s alleged campaign of terror against those who dare cross it, say legal experts.

Throughout Masterson’s legal battles, the church has insisted it had nothing to do with covering up the creep’s crimes but his victims claimed Scientology officials urged them not to go to police.
